Parracombe
Higher Bodley is a working hill
farm, set in the foothills of Exmoor at the top of the Heddon
Valley with easy access from the A.39 Higher Bodley is the
perfect base for exploring the wonders of Exmoor and the
beautiful coastline of North Devon, either by car, walking
cycling or riding. There are signed footpaths from the farm
leading to the moor, and bridle ways for that perfect country
riding, an added plus being the farm is only a ten minute walk to
the local gastro pub.
Our lavish accommodation
includes an en suite room with king size four poster bed and own
sitting area, plus a large,sunny,super king /twin room with
luxury private bathroom. Rooms also have Colour TV, DVD
tea/coffee making facilities and hair dryer. Farm Tours including
moorland areas, to see our Highland cattle, and hopefully catch
sight of deer and other wildlife. Dogs welcome by prior
arrangement.
Storage for bikes, surf
boards etc. Stabling for horses available by prior arrangement.
Wireless internet access.
Breakfast is taken in our beamed dining room by the Rayburn. We
offer a comprehensive menu, using local produce where possible,
including, of course, the traditional English breakfast, and are
also happy to cater for special diets where possible
