It is set in its own picturesque 28 acre wooded valley adjacent to a former mill surrounded by wildlife and within sound of a wide. but shallow. trout stream.
The cottage lies 3/4
mile below Bratton Fleming. with a pub and a village store with
delicatessen. It is perfectly situated for exploring the rugged
North Devon coastline, the magnificent South West Coast Path,
Exmoor National Park and the sandy beaches at Saunton Sands.
Croyde and Putsborough. Watersmeet, Valley of the Rocks,
Arlington Court, RHS Rosemoor Garden, Marwood Garden and Hartland
Abbey are also recommended..
Accommodation: Entrance lobby, downstairs shower room and WC, kitchen/breakfast room, sitting room, double bedroom with en suite bathroom and WC, twin bedroom. Pets very welcome.

machine, fridge with freezer compartment, and use of shared
freezer and tumble drying. Narrow oak and pine staircase with
large steps on landing. Private water supply. Lawned large
garden (not enclosed) with river frontage to the rear with
terrace and views up the valley. Wooden bench table and barbeque
on bank of trout stream for guests use. Circular walks and rides
from the cottage either over wooden bridge or along the river
bank. Ample parking for cars close to front door. Dinner
Delivery Service. Cot & high-chair available. Well behaved
dogs welcome. Stabling. Minimum stay 7 nights Saturday/Saturday
during June, July. August and September
