Heale Farm nestles in a sheltered hollow between the village
of Parracombe and the dramatic North Devon coast. From here you
can experience the best of the area, with all the wild beauty of
Exmoor and the rugged coast on your doorstep, the seaside
villages of Lynmouth and Combe Martin nearby and the fantastic
beaches of Woolacoombe and Croyde within easy reach.
This peaceful location is ideal for walking enthusiasts -
wooded valleys, open moorland and dramatic coast path all
accessible from the farm - leave the car and get away from it
all. Surrounded by unspoilt and undiscovered countryside,
abounding in wildlife and historical interest - visit the ancient
church of St Petrock or the famous Longstone of Chapman Barrows.
Tread the old cart track to Hunters Inn and on to dramatic
Heddons Mouth, or just drink in the view from Holdstone Down.
Only two miles to village and pub with good food or 20 minutes to
a choice of moorland pubs or restaurants in Lynton and
Lynmouth.
Heale Farm Cottage
- sleeps 2 - 5. The cottage has beautiful views to Trentishoe
Down from the large, vaulted first floor sitting room. It¹s
comfortable and friendly atmosphere is ideal for two couples or
even a couple (at discount rate) as well as families. With one
double bedded, one twin bedded and one small single, there is a
bathroom with bidet and also a shower room. A kitchen breakfast
room and utility open onto the sunny garden. Central heating and
woodburner. Laundry room and ping pong freely available plus
freedom of 20 acres.
The Bothy - sleeps 2. This
ancient barn¹s open plan accommodation is spacious and full of
character, with woodburning stove and night storage heaters to
make it warm for all the changing seasons. A spacious beamed
living/bedroom area with kingsize four-poster bed has french
windows opening onto your garden and the fields beyond. A small
kitchen with combi microwave and shower room complete the
picture. This really is the perfect hideaway to get away from it
all.
