Situated on the outskirts of Lynton
& Lynmouth, in the heart of the Exmoor National Park, Ridgeview looks out over the vast open moorland of Brendon
Common & The Chains. Our five acre working smallholding, enjoying 360 degree views of Exmoor, is an ideal base for
walking, fishing, riding, sightseeing or just relaxation! An abundance of wildlife is present, wild red deer &
Exmoor ponies can often be seen grazing nearby. We are within walking distance from the beautiful Watersmeet Valley
& a short drive to The Doone Valley where the legend of Lorna Doone was born. There are also many walks in the area,
maybe the best known ’Two Moors Way’ passes by our door. Ridgeview is a comfortable bungalow set in its own grounds.
The pretty double bedded guest room offers tea & coffee making facilities, a hair dryer & TV. The light &
airy bathroom is a few strides down the hall. An extensive breakfast menu is available, using locally sourced produce,
& is served in the cosy lounge from 8.30am. A complementary tray of tea or coffee & home made cake welcomes you
