Lynton
Royal Castle Lodge is a
16th Century thatched stone lodge oozing with
character. It is within walking distance of all village shops and
inns.
It is a unique and romantic cottage for two - perfect for honeymoons and anniversaries.
The location is ideal – the outlook is of the garden and wooded hillsides but all the village facilities and cliff railway or path to Lynmouth are just behind the cottage. After a short shared drive there is private parking for two cars at the side of the garden.
This listed
cottage is four star and comprises a romantic sheltered balcony,
stable door to lounge/diner with TV and electric ‘wood-burner
style fire’. The fully fitted galley style kitchen has electric
oven, microwave, fridge-freezer etc.
Upstairs is a large bedroom with king size bed, plenty of storage space and a TV. The bathroom has a large bath with ‘telephone type shower’.
There are original features and lots of beams.
There are masses of spectacular walks from the doorstep and we have bike storage on request. Share our ‘secret’ walk/cycling/mountain bike routes.
A dog is welcome and free by arrangement. Large garden plus small dog-secure area, electric, linen, towels and a warm welcome included!
