Woodybrooke Cottage offers 5 star luxury accommodation and takes pride in its self
sufficient, eco friendly status. Nestled in the natural wooded amphitheatre that
is Woody Bay, on the stunning Exmoor coast, it is a secluded hideaway to give
you a truly peaceful, relaxing and tranquil holiday. Situated between
historic Lynmouth/Valley of the Rocks and Heddon's Mouth/ Combe Martin. Perfect
for painting, bird watching and walking. This is a walkers’ paradise in
the heart of National Trust woodland and is one of the finest examples of scenic
inland and coastal path walks in the whole of Great Britain. With an abundance
of wild life, Exmoor is famed for its red deer, ponies and birds of prey.
Not far away are the glorious sandy beaches of the North Devon coast
(Woolacombe, Croyde, and Saunton Sands.) offering excellent surfing, rock
climbing, fishing, golfing, and horse riding. Locally there are fabulous old
English pubs and great eateries, such as the famous Hunters Inn at Heddon's
Mouth.
The
cottage has 3 bedrooms; 2 doubles (one en suite) and 1 twin, a cot is also
available. It will accommodate up to 6 adults. The sophisticated bathroom
and en suite include wet room, shower, Jacuzzi and foot spa. The hand
built kitchen has a 6 hob electric stove with spit roast and large oven,
dishwasher and all mod cons, leading onto a large granite courtyard. The
sitting room has a log burner and French doors leading into the garden near the
four tiered pond. Also accessed from this room is the galleried library.
Throughout is oak flooring with underfloor heating. The gardens have many
different areas to sit and enjoy these stunning surroundings, relaxing and
listening to the stream which runs next to the house.
The house is approached via its own driveway and offers ample parking.
