West Ilkerton is a secluded traditional farm with a superb location and beautiful views. Lynton, Lynmouth and the coast are about 3 miles to the north, and the farm borders some spectacular open moorland that stretches for miles to the south.
Local breeds of sheep and cattle are farmed. Other animals include a herd of registered Exmoor ponies and a Shire horse. Guests are welcome to join in with farm life when it is possible.  Farm tours in a Landrover Discovery can be booked.
They have converted half their Grade 11 listed Devon long house into a luxurious holiday cottage that sleeps up to six people plus a baby in a cot. The emphasis is on comfort, with king size double beds, central heating, double glazing and carefully chosen furniture. There are three bedrooms. The main bedroom has a king size four poster bed, the second room has a king size bed and the third has twin beds. A cot and high chair are provided and there are stair gates on both sets of stairs. 

There are two bathrooms (one with a shower over bath), a spacious living room (with Sky TV, DVD and video), and a very well equipped kitchen with an oil fired Rayburn. Children and pets are welcome. There is an outdoor play area, and also a large selection of books, videos and games are provided free of charge. One or two well-behaved dogs allowed free of charge.
West Ilkerton is the perfect base for walking, riding, exploring Exmoor or just relaxing.  A discount is available for one or two people sharing one bedroom.
